Miles Teller has put ‘Esquire’ on blast! After they published an unflattering interview — one where the magazine called him a ‘d*ck’ multiple times — Miles railed against the article by calling the profile ‘misrepresenting!’
Before Miles Teller, 28, takes on Doctor Doom in his new movie, Fantastic Four, he’s having a war of the words with Esquire. Miles gave an interview with the magazine, but after reading it, he publicly trashed Esquire! Miles took offense over the insulting article, especially how they made him look like a jerk!
Miles’s interview appeared in the Sept. issue of Esquire. In the article, Miles spoke about growing up, how he deals with paparazzi and, in one instance, how some people say he doesn’t have a leading man’s good looks.
“I was thinking about that today, how I probably think I’m better-looking than the public thinks I am,” Miles said, “I was in one of these forums about a film I did, and [the comments were] like, ‘This dude is so ugly! How does he get f*cking parts?‘ ‘Well, he’s not, like, traditionally handsome, but . . .’ And that’s kind of what it is.”
Miles laughed off his haters, especially since there he has fans who think he’s totally buff! Esquire took this and his other comments as evidence of him being a jerk. In fact, they called him a “d*ck” seven times in the interview and once more when they tweeted out the link to the interview!
It turns out that Miles is the kind of guy who doesn’t like being called a “d*ck.” On Aug. 5, the day the interview came out, Miles called out Esquire for their portrayal of him. He said that the interview “couldn’t be more wrong,” and that he didn’t “think there’s anything cool or entertaining about being a d*ck or an a**hole.” All in all, Miles slammed the article, calling it “very misrepresenting.”
@esquire couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t think there’s anything cool or entertaining about being a dick or an asshole. Very misrepresenting

As Miles defended himself, he found back up from his fellow Fantastic Four co-stars. Kate Mara tweeted her support for Miles, saying her “movie husband” is a “crazy talented and truly fantastic person.” Jamie Bell also said that Miles is a “great actor” and a “great guy.”

Miles isn’t the only Fantastic Four cast member having a bad time with interviews. His co-stars, Michael B. Jordan and Kate Mara did a standard interview with an Atlanta radio host. Things got cringe worthy fast, as the interview quickly turned racist and sexist. Uh-oh. And believe us — it did not get better.
