Is Taylor Swift coming to ‘Fuller House’? Well, probably not, but if Candace Cameron has her way, T Swift will be a part of the series in a different way!
Hey, Taylor Swift, you are wanted on Fuller House! Candace Cameron, who will reprise her iconic role as D.J. Tanner for the Full House spinoff series on Netflix, is spilling secrets from the exciting new show, which will debut in 2016. So much is still unknown, including what will be used as a theme song (the original series’ opening tune, after all, set a pretty epic precedent). Candace, however, has a perfect idea as to how the new opening titles could match the original: have Taylor sing it!
“I don’t know what they’re doing with the theme song,” Candace said at a recent press event to promote her new book, Dancing Through Life. “I think a lot of people are hoping that it’s going to have some of the original lyrics in there. A remix of the original theme song would be great with some current, cool singer. That would be awesome.”
That would be awesome. So, what current singer out there would be up for it? Ariana Grande? Miley Cyrus? Madonna, perhaps? Candace has some ideas of her own! “Taylor Swift, are you out there?” she asked. “Are you a fan of Full House? I’d like you to sing my theme song.”
Well, obviously, Taylor is a fan of Full House. Everyone is a fan of Full House. Tay, we know you’re like, super busy, but on behalf of late 80s and 90s kids everywhere, we sorta need you to step up and do this for us. Pretty please?
Would you want Taylor to sing the Fuller House theme song? If you could choose, who would be your dream singer to do it?
