This is amazing. The very first trailer for ‘Deadpool,’ the new Marvel flick starring Ryan Reynolds, finally dropped on Aug. 4, and it features all the butt-kicking action — and twisted humor — we could have hoped for!

In Deadpool, which will at long last hit theaters on Feb. 12, 2016, Ryan Reynolds will take on the ever so caustic antihero in red, Deadpool. The not so typical Marvel man is equal parts vengeance and vicious sense of humor— qualities which are very clearly displayed in this new trailer, which first debuted in July at Comic-Con. Check it out immediately!

Slay, Deadpool! We can’t stop watching this trailer. Not only is it so damn funny, but Ryan is oh so sexy. And those muscle — wow.

To get an even better sense of the film, here’s an official description.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpoool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The day before the official preview dropped, Deadpool himself teased the epic trailer– with an epic trailer, and it is not suitable for work! “In a world, divided by fear,” Deadpool creepily says in the teaser, as we see nothing but darkness. “One man must stand alone against the forces of darkness.” At that, we begin to slowly focus in on the shadowed guy in red, and that’s when things get a little provocative.

“From the studio that inexplicably sewed his f–king mouth shut the first time, comes five-time Academy Award viewer, Ryan Reynolds, as a man on an E-Harmony date with destiny,” he adds, with lethal doses of sass. “Ladies and gentleman, I give you: me! Deadpool!” Watch the hilarious snippet below!

What do you think of this first trailer? Are you excited to see Ryan as Deadpool?
