‘Zoolander 2’: Derek Is Back In Hilarious First Trailer — Watch

Derek Zoolander is back! The superstar model, who may be beautiful but isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, stars in the first trailer for ‘Zoolander 2,’ and it’s outrageously funny! Watch it right here!

It’s finally here, and it’s freaking amazing! The first trailer for the highly-anticipated Ben Stiller, 49, sequel, Zoolander 2, has been released, and it doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. It’s been 14 years since the original Zoolander, and Derek hasn’t aged a bit!

In the must-see trailer, we are left to ponder some of the universe’s greatest mysteries. That is, until catwalk superstar Derek Zoolander hits our screen. “If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?” he asks after a Stephen Hawking-like character takes us on a journey through time and space and the evolution of life on earth. It’s really funny!

Then, as vain and adorably stupid as our modeling hero is, Derek struggles to understand the title for the movie when two different logos appear. “2oolander?” he exclaims, saying he doesn’t spell his name with a two after being told it’s a pun on the sequel. Derek continues to have trouble with the clever titles, and it’s so funny! It’s just so lame that we have to wait until Feb. 12, 2016 for the movie to hit theaters. How can we wait that long?!

A number of high-profile celebrities have already been confirmed for the new movie, including Justin Bieber, 21, and Ariana Grande, 22. They join original cast members like Owen Wilson, 46, and Christine Taylor, 44.

Ben, who will be directing and starring in the movie, took to Instagram on April 29 to confirm Justin’s cameo by posting a photo of himself alongside the 21-year-old singer. In the hilarious pic, the stars glare at one another while striking the “Blue Steel” pose made famous by Ben’s character, Derek, in the original 2001 film.

And it was actress Susan Sarandon, 68, who let the cat out of the bag about Ariana’s appearance in the film. She recently revealed, after Ariana’s donut-licking scandal rocked America, that she had just worked with her on the comedy and described the singer as a “great, very talented person!”

Will you be seeing Zoolander 2 in the theaters, HollywoodLifers?
