Watch out, world! Now that Ronda Rousey defeated Bethe Correia at UFC 190 on Aug. 1, who will the champ take down next? Find out!
Ronda Rousey, 28, is unstoppable! After her epic defeat of Bethe Correia, 32, at UFC 190 on Aug. 1, Ronda secured her reputation as the best female athlete in the world, and she’s ready for her next battle. In fact, she’s been preparing for her next take down!
Before UFC 190 kicked off, Ronda laid out her grand plan, which included beating the Brazilian fighter and taking down her ultimate opponent. “I’m going to beat up Bethe, then I’m going to take a couple of weeks to rest, and then I’m going to go beat up Miesha [Tate],” she told Fox Sports. “And then I’m going to go to Thailand or wherever we decide to film and prep for a month, and then start filming for like eight to 10 weeks, and then go beat up the next chick.” Wow! Now that’s a gal with a solid plan.
Miesha and Ronda’s fights are always intense. Plus, Miesha has proven she’s hungry for victory, too, after defeating Jessica Eye. Ronda has badly beaten up Miesha in the past, including breaking her arm and almost twisting it off. Miesha is said to be Ronda’s biggest opponent, as she’s taken her down before. Miesha better watch out though, because Ronda has a ton of momentum after beating Bethe in a clean 34 seconds! She now remains undefeated after securing her 12th win. Fans and celebrities including Will Smith went wild over the big win.
When Ronda isn’t fighting, she’s busy filming Mile 22, an action movie starring Mark Wahlberg, which will be released in 2016. Her impressive acting resume includes Entourage, Furious Seven and The Expendables 3. Is there anything she can’t do?!
