This is so awkward. Tyga is reportedly being sued by his landlord for not paying his $25k a month rent, and now he risks being evicted.
Tyga, 25, is in pretty big trouble with the owner of the Calabasas, California home he’s been renting. The rapper, who is dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner, is reportedly two months behind on rent — which is a whopping $25,000 a month. Unfortunately, this isn’t unfamiliar territory for Tyga because in June 2015 he was ordered to pay approximately $80,000 in back rent to another landlord in the same neighborhood. Damn!
Maybe Tyga needs some tips on how to remember things. Someone should show him how to set reminders on his phone, or maybe teach him the trick where you tie a ribbon around your finger to remember something. Rent is pretty important, especially if you want somewhere decent to live, so how could he keep putting his hefty monthly expense off like this?
Tyga is being sued for not paying up to two months of rent, reports TMZ. As previously mentioned, his monthly rent is $25k so that brings him to $50,000 debt. If his landlord doesn’t receive the entire amount due by Saturday, August 1, Tyga faces eviction charges which will start at $833.33 a day, claims the report. Talk about making things worse!
Making things even worse, the property Tyga owns rent on is the same place he lived with his ex, Blac Chyna. Her name is reportedly still on the paperwork, so that means she’s been listed as a defendant as well. Something tells me she’s probably not happy about that at all.
As HollywoodLife.com has previously and EXCLUSIVELY reported, Kylie really wants Tyga to come and live in her brand new $2.7 million home. If that’s the case, maybe it’s time Tyga pays his rent, ends his lease, and moves in with his teenage girlfriend. Maybe she can show him the ropes of handling his money responsibly!
