Terrence Howard’s ex-wife, Michelle Ghent has filed a civil complaint against the ‘Empire’ star, claiming he bet her up while on a trip to Costa Rica in 2013. She claims he punched her and strangled her for ‘several seconds.’
This is just so sad and scary if it’s true! Terrence Howard, 46, is being accused by his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, of threatening to kill her and beating her up in the bathroom of their vacation home on July 29, 2013. Howard allegedly followed her into the bathroom and punched the left side of her face, grabbed her by the neck and then strangled her, according to the civil complaint. That’s when Howard’s son-in-law, Billy, allegedly intervened to try and “pry Howard’s hands” from her neck.
“While Billy tried to pry Defendant’s hands from Plaintiff’s neck, Defendant whispered to Plaintiff, ‘Remember what I told you in Bora Bora? That is what I’m gonna do,’ referring to a prior instance where Defendant told Plaintiff that her body would never leave the island,” the complaint states. “Plaintiff interpreted the reference to mean that Defendant was going to kill her.” But Terrence claims it was started by Michelle who sprayed him with pepper spray during their fight. But her attorney claims not only did he threaten her life but he “mule kicked” her.
Terrence was also accused of spousal abused in 2001 for allegedly assaulting his wife, Lori McCommas. Also, in Michelle’s divorce documents from 2011 she claimed that he threatened her all throughout their marriage and she even got a restraining order against him in 2013 after their Costa Rica trip.
The same year he and Michelle divorced, he married Miranda Pak and together they have a son, Qirin Love.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of this horrible situation?
