It’s a great time to be a Dr. Seuss fan! The late author’s first book in 25 years, ‘What Pet Should I Get?’, debuted on July 28 and fans are going wild over the recently discovered work, while paying tribute to his legacy.

Twenty-four years after his death, Dr. Seuss‘s recently discovered book, What Pet Should I Get? has arrived. The book, which has already debuted at number one on Amazon since it’s July 28 release, is striking a soft spot with fans, who are gushing over yet another remarkable piece of work from the beloved children’s author. See the reactions here!

No matter your age, Dr. Seuss has a message for all. While expressing excitement over the new book, which revolves around a brother and sister deciding on what kind of pet to get, fans are also remembering the author’s wise words.

Star-Trek actor George Takei, 78, seemed to have a different opinion on the book, making up his own little rhyme.

The complete manuscript, written and illustrated by Dr. Seuss, who’s real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, was discovered in a box in 2013 by his widow Audrey. The last book Dr. Seuss published in his lifetime was Oh, the Places You’ll Go in 1990, one year before his death. Rest in peace, Dr. Seuss. You’re sure not forgotten!
