Wrestling isn’t fake, especially to John Cena. During the July 27 episode of ‘Monday Night Raw,’ the WWE superstar faced Seth Rollins and ended up with a broken nose! Click to watch, but be warned: it gets pretty bloody!
Remember: do not try this at home! John Cena, 38, and Seth Rollins, 29, are trained professionals and sometimes, even they end up bloodied and bruised. Seth and John went head-to-head in a United States Championship match and ended up going head-to-knee, as Seth broke John’s nose with a vicious kick!
It was Champion vs. Champion on the July 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, reports E! News. WWE Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was looking to take John’s US Title belt, but ended up taking about half a pint of John’s blood! Towards the end of the bout, Seth delivered a jumping knee strike to John’s face and nearly knocked his nose off his head!
Wow. After the kick, John dropped to the corner of the ring. When the camera zoomed in on him, John’s nose was like a blood faucet. Gross! The ringside physician attended to John, patching up his nose and stopping the blood so John could still finish the match. Wow. John’s injury happened a month after Jamie Noble suffered three-broken ribs in a confrontation with Brock Lesnar, proving that wrestling can get pretty real!
By the end, John’s schnoz was swollen and clearly broken. Ouch! Hopefully, he recovers in time for SummerSlam. John will possibly meet Seth in a rematch, but during the Aug 23 event, Seth’s Heavyweight Championship will likely be on the line!
SummerSlam promises to be a huge event! Cody Rhodes – excuse us, Stardust – may finally fight Arrow’s Stephen Amell. Plus, in a rematch of WrestleMania 30, Brock will face the man he beat, The Undertaker! The WWE’s Deadman cost Brock the WWE Championship at Battleground, setting up the SummerSlam main event.
Did you cringe while watching John get his nose broken, HollywoodLifers? Are you rooting for him to get revenge on Seth at SummerSlam?
