Yikes. Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels is airing all of her dirty laundry. The rapper dropped a new song, ‘Lifeline’ on July 28 where he dissed his ex-girlfriend all while blasting her current BF Meek Mills. Listen to the diss track here!
Meek Mills, 28, may have stirred up some drama with Drake, 28, but now Nicki Minaj‘s, 32, ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels, 34, is getting in on it too. Nicki and her new man are the subject of her ex-boyfriend’s latest track and it doesn’t sound too good for them. The rapper angrily blasts his ex’s new boyfriend and even drops a few bars dissing Nicki’s writing skills in his song, “Lifeline!”
Tell us all how you really feel, Safaree. While everyone was waiting for Meek to drop a track responding to Drake‘s, 28, “Charged Up” track towards him, the rapper was blindsided by Nicki’s ex-boyfriend. Safaree dropped a diss track where he put both Nicki and Meek on blast. The 34-year-old threw in some brutal lines about about Meek’s facial features. “This n**** bent outta shape with a gorilla face,” he rapped. Safaree even went as far as to fat shame Nicki’s boyfriend. “I heard you told Philippe Chow you ain’t goin’ there … You outta shape anyway you need to eat a pear,” Safaree raps in his song. But that wasn’t the end of the disses. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE SONG.
In the same song, Nicki’s ex claims to have been a ghost writer on a few of her songs on “The Pinkprint” album. “My bars on ‘The Pinkprint’ no one will ever match,” is just one of the lines Safaree raps in the song. However, that’s a pretty big accusation considering the fact that the 34-year-old tweeted about not writing Nicki’s raps in January 2015. It’s still a pretty harsh diss, ghost writing is basically how this whole thing started. After all, Meek did start the rap feud by accusing fellow rapper Drake of not writing his own raps.
Meek Claims Drake Has A Ghost Writer
After Nicki’s massive Twitter rant towards the VMAs on July 21, Meek decided he wanted to stir up some trouble and called out Drake in the process. The 28-year-old claims the Canadian rapper employed a ghostwriter on their joint track, “R.I.C.O.” “Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” Mill alleged in his tweets. It’s not surprising Nicki’s ex wrote a few lines about claiming to have ghost written on her album. It just brings the entire feud full circle.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Did Safaree go too far in his diss track towards Nicki and Meek?
