Now that the WWE has laid the smackdown on Hulk Hogan, firing him over his racist comments, who will replace him as a judge on ‘WWE Tough Enough?’ HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on who might lace up their boots and take over for the Hulkster.
When the WWE fired Hulk Hogan, 61, over his racist comments, the sports entertainment company found itself with one less judge on their reality TV competition, WWE Tough Enough. Uh-oh. Looks like it’s time for the WWE to tag in a new superstar! HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned whom the WWE might have join Daniel Bryan, 34, and Paige, 22, as the next Tough Enough judge!
Replacing Hulk is no easy decision, as he’s arguably the most famous wrestling superstar in history. Ever since his firing, WWE has been in discussions over who could be the right person to fill Hulk’s seat on the judging panel. It turns out they’ve been tossing around some major names!
“Top options are legends the likes of Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, Ric Flair,” the WWE insider EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, “or moving Chris Jericho from host to judge and putting backstage analyst Renee Young in the hosting role.”
Wow! Bret Hart is a five-time WWE Champion and a Hall of Famer. He was also nicknamed “the Excellence of Execution,” because he was once considered the best technical wrestler in the world! Chris was the WWE’s first Undisputed Champion in history, so he definitely has the chops to pick the next WWE superstar. As for Ric, he’s been every kind of champion, including NWA, WCW and WWE world champ! If there were anyone who’s a bigger legend than Hulk Hogan, it would be him.
The show’s producers are also considering “having The Miz be a judge, since he is already at the tapings because he hosts the after show on the WWE Network,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. However, whomever they pick, the clock is ticking, as the source says that WWE’s Vince McMahon and other officials will give the USA Network their decision by the afternoon of July 27.
Hulk apologized for grotesque comments, but not after his fans tore into him for his racist rant. Fans were utterly shocked to hear that their pro wrestling icon drop the N-word! Judging by their disbelief and disgust, we can safely say that the world just lost a bunch of Hulkamaniacs.
Who do you want to see take over the empty judging chair on Tough Enough, HollywoodLifers? Bret, Ric or Chris? Or, do you think it should go to someone else?
