Thank God for Louis Tomlinson. In the middle of the One Direction concert on July 26, the singer thought it would be funny to rip open Liam Payne's shirt right on stage -- putting the spotlight on his bare chest! Hopefully that wasn't Liam Payne's, 21, favorite shirt. As the One Direction singer was putting on a show for fans in Minneapolis, his lovely band mate Louis Tomlinson, 23, decided it would be a much better show if Liam's shirt came off. Unfortunately, the 21-year-old did not parade around with his shirt off, but the sight of his bare chest was enough to get fans screaming!

Poor Liam. The singer was in for quite the surprise when he stepped out on that stage in Minneapolis on July 26. For one, he probably wasn’t expecting to have his shirt ripped open by Louis. In the middle of the On The Road Again concert at the TCF Bank Stadium. Not only did Liam’s shirt get ripped open, his poor top actually was torn while that was happening! “Well thanks for ripping my shirt tommo … What can u do ay aha,” Liam tweeted after the on stage incident. Louis has quite the strength!

Not to mention Louis was quite proud of what he did that night. “Great show tonight !! Loveeeeeeeeee,” the 23-year-old tweeted shortly after the show ended. Liam walking around and performing with his shirt ripped open was definitely unexpected by fans, however, could that have been Louis’ gift to Directioners for being so good to them over the years? The boys did just celebrate their five year anniversary recently and Louis did his best to show his gratitude towards the people that brought him and One Direction to where they are today! Fans weren’t the only ones being thanked, Liam also thanked former member Zayn Malik, 22, in a heartfelt tribute!

No hard feelings between these former bandmates! While celebrating One Direction’s 5th anniversary on July 23, Liam took the time to thank all of his bandmates for all of the incredible memories they’ve made together in the last five years. “Wowwwww 5 years 5 boys what an amazing journey I couldn’t thank you all ever enough and thankyou Louis Niall Harry and zayn for everything,” Liam tweeted. To which Zayn responded, “@Real_Liam_Payne thanks bro! x.” The love is still alive and well between the two friends!
