Bobby Brown ‘Inconsolable’ After Bobbi Kristina’s Death: It’s Worse Than Losing Whitney

Mon, July 27, 2015 7:58am EDT by Avery Thompson 12 Comments

Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown tragically passed away on July 26 at the young age of 22. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Bobby is reeling over Bobbi Kristina’s ‘gut-wrenching’ death, and his grief is ‘worse’ than when Whitney Houston died.

This is truly heartbreaking. After nearly seven months in a coma, Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, passed away on July 26 with her family by her side. Her father, Bobby Brown, 46, is “inconsolable” following her death, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY found out. We’ve learned the pain he’s feeling is far more agonizing than when Bobbi Kristina’s mom, Whitney Houston, died in 2012, and Bobby was still holding out hope for a miracle until the very end.

Bobby can’t take it right now,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “This is truly one of the most gut-wrenching experiences of his life, and he’s hurting. He’s a mess and inconsolable. This is worse than when Whitney died. He truly didn’t want to take Bobbi Kristina off life support, and he was hoping for a miracle of all miracles. This is by far the worse day of his life. And it’s not going to get better for a very long time.”

We can understand why this is so devastating for Bobby. Bobbi Kristina was found face down in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. She was placed in a medically-induced coma. Her family was constantly by her side, during her months-long treatment.

Bobbi Kristina was moved to hospice care on June 24 after her condition continued to “deteriorate.” Bobbi Kristina’s mom, Whitney, tragically died from a drug overdose on Feb. 11, 2012 and she was also found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room. Whitney’s unexpected death devastated Bobbi Kristina and the rest of the family.

Bobbi Kristina’s family released a statement thanking everyone for their “love and support” over the past few months. They said she was “finally at peace in the arms of God.” Fans and celebrities took to Twitter to mourn her death.

Our thoughts remain with Bobby and the rest of Bobbi Kristina’s family during this difficult time. HollywoodLife.com will keep you updated on the developments following Bobbi Kristina’s death.
