Our hearts are heavy reading the touching words and seeing the loving picture posted on Whitney Houston’s official Facebook page following the death of her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
After months of fighting for her life, Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away at the young age of 22 on July 26. An hour later, a beautiful picture of the also deceased Whitney Houston holding Bobbi as a baby was uploaded on to Whitney’s Facebook page with an emotional caption about finally saying goodbye — see the picture and heartbreaking caption.
“It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face’,” the caption under the touching photo above reads.
Bobbi was found unconscious in a bathtub on January 31, similar to the way her mother was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub in 2012. Soon after Bobbi was found, she was placed in a medically induced coma to fight for her life. It was months later, on June 24, that she was moved to hospice care after her condition continued to “deteriorate.”
The Houston family released the following statement in regards to her passing on July 26:
Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.
“This is truly one of the most gut-wrenching experiences of his life, and he’s hurting. He’s a mess and inconsolable. This is worse than when Whitney died. He truly didn’t want to take Bobbi Kristina off life support, and he was hoping for a miracle of all miracles. This is by far the worse day of his life. And it’s not going to get better for a very long time,” the insider went on.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with Bobby and the rest of Bobbi Kristina’s family during this difficult time.
