Bobbi Kristina Brown sadly passed away on July 26 after a nearly 7-month coma. She was only 22 years old. The daughter of the beloved Whitney Houston had been found unconscious in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. Sadly, despite all of the best medical efforts, she just couldn’t pull through.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family said in a statement to E! News. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

After a nearly 7-month stay in the hospital, Bobbi Kristina was moved into hospice care on June 24. Her father, Bobby Brown, allegedly rushed to her side the next day, according to People. He looked somber as he joined her aunt, Pat Houston, and the rest of her family for Bobbi Kristina’s final days.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now,” Pat told E! News on June 24.

Bobbi Kristina’s death comes after nearly seven months of heartache for her family. Her father is “inconsolable” over her death.
