Nicki Minaj Praises Taylor Swift’s Apology On GMA: ‘We’re All Good’

It’s over! Nicki Minaj had nothing but great things to say about Taylor Swift and her apology during an appearance on ‘GMA,’ where she addressed her VMA Twitter rant and all of the drama that followed.

Nicki Minaj, 32, is ready to put the past where it belongs — behind her. Not only was she happy to reveal that her and Taylor Swift, 25, have mended their friendship, but she was full of compliments for the country-turned-pop singer. Hopefully these two can inspire other young girls to put misunderstandings behind them and friendship first!

Talk about burying the hatchet! Nicki did all of that and more while discussing her Twitter drama with Taylor on Good Morning America on Friday, July 24. Although they had a little back-and-forth over Twitter, things came to a swift end when Taylor apologized on Thursday, July 23. The good news? Nicki and Taylor couldn’t be on better terms.

“It takes a big person to do what Taylor did,” Nicki said, praising her public apology on Twitter. “Everyone sometimes speaks out of terms, I’ve been there, sometimes we do things and we don’t think right away or we don’t investigate, we just talk. It was big of her to come out and say that. So yes, we spoke for a long time, we were cracking up on the phone, and it’s over guys.”

Nicki also confirmed HollywoodLife.com‘s EXCLUSIVE reporting that she talked to Taylor on the phone before the singer apologized on Twitter.  Here’s what she told GMA: “I spoke to Taylor Swift yesterday on the phone, so she was, you know, she was super super sweet and she apologized. She said you know look, I didn’t understand the big picture of what you were saying but now I get it. So we’re all good.”

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers — Are you happy to hear Taylor and Nicki are back on good terms? Do you think they set a good example for young women? Comment below with your thoughts!
