Hulkamania is gone, brother! The WWE fired Hulk Hogan on July 23 after a report claimed Hulk used the n-word and other racial slurs! The WWE didn’t just fire Hulk – they completely removed him from their website!
We are speechless. Hulk Hogan, 61, and Hulkamania are no longer running wild in the WWE! Hulk was fired from the company (and completely scrubbed from their website) after a new report claimed the wrestling legend called black people the n-word! Yikes!
Hulk’s July 23 firing comes after a report claimed he dropped the n-word, multiple times, during a conversation that was recorded on his sex tape, reports RadarOnline. Hulk is currently suing Gawker over the unauthorized release of the tape, and the recording’s transcripts were sealed by a Florida court. This was allegedly done to prevent them from getting out to the public, but “five independent sources” reportedly provided them to RadarOnline. These transcripts of the audio allegedly show Hulk making racist statements!
“My daughter Brooke [Hogan] jumped sides on me,” Hogan reportedly told Heather Clem, as he was allegedly angry that his daughter’s music career was going to be funded by, who he called, a “black billionaire guy.” What he reportedly said next is shocking:
“I don’t know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy’s son. I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n*****s. But then when it comes to nice people and s***, and whatever.”
OMG. Hogan wasn’t done, as he reportedly said “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*** some n*****, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F*****g n*****.”
Unbelievable. Though this audio has not been officially released to the public, it was enough to get Hulk dropped from the WWE. He was even fired from being a judge on WWE’s Tough Enough! Earlier reports claimed that Hulk’s firing was tied with the uncovering of a 2012 interview where he also used racial slurs. Hulk spoke with DJ Whoo Kid on DJ Whoo Kid on Whoolywood Shuffle, reports the Daily Beast. During the conversation, Hulk bemoaned how he couldn’t use the n-word, even when his rapper friends called him it.
“I was down in Miami when I lived there, you know, everybody — I’d walk into the [club] and all of a sudden I’d bump into this guy and The Game’s in the [club],” said Hogan. “And everybody down there — Lil Wayne, Birdman — they’re all calling me ‘n****,’ and then I started saying it. I always said it, but now all of a sudden I get heat when I say it, and they say, ‘Hogan, you can’t say that,’ so I say, ‘Why can they say it to me then?'”
The 2012 interview and the tape transcripts might not be the only instances where Hogan used racial slurs. There is reportedly additional audio where Hogan used the n-word and other derogatory remarks, reports the Huffington Post. Hogan allegedly says these words about fellow wrestlers, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!
WWE’s Statement: The Company Is Committed To Celebrating Diversity
Yikes! With these reports, it seems like the WWE had no choice but to send Hulk packing. They removed all of his images from their websites, even their Hall of Fame section! The WWE issued a statement on Hulk’s firing, reiterating their commitment to celebrating all types of individuals:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
What do you think about the WWE firing Hulk Hogan, HollywoodLifers?
