Sadly, another one bites the dust. Maria Sharapova is single again after being in a relationship for two years with Grigor Dimitrov. The two have decided to go their separate ways.
Maria Sharapova, 28, is back on the market after her two year romance fizzled out. The tennis beauty and her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov, 24, both made the decision to split up. The tennis pro confirmed the sad news of their break up at a press conference on July 24.
Break ups are always difficult to go through, but it sounds like Maria and Grigor’s split was amicable. “Our paths split,” Grigor confirmed to the Bulgarian media at a press conference, reports Us Weekly. “We experienced wonderful moments together. I wish her much happiness and success in life and in tennis.” At least their break up wasn’t ill-fated at all. In fact, their split is the last thing on Grigor’s mind.
He continued to reveal in the same press conference that he’s totally focused and has his head in the game. “Now I’m concentrated entirely on the game and I’m sure the results will soon be seen,” he said. “This is the summer of the new beginning of me.” While Grigor continues to focus on his tennis matches, Maria has yet to acknowledge their break up, but from the looks of her social media accounts, she isn’t hurting too bad from their split either.
Maria Sharapova Working On A Secret Project
After publicly revealing their romance to the world in 2013 by kissing out in the open on the streets of Madrid, it all came to an end two years later. But both tennis pros aren’t upset over it. Maria last tweeted on July 23 about shooting a secret project. “Guess who I’m shooting for today? #SecretProject,” Maria shared on Twitter next to a picture of her happy face. Guess the former couple just had to go their separate ways and on the surface they seem to be just fine with that.
How do you feel, HollywoodLifers? Are you sad Maria and Grigor broke up after two years of being together?
