Chris Brown is a free man! Breezy was finally allowed to leave the Philippines after being detained on fraud charges. He posted a triumphant video as he and his crew headed to a private plane at the Manila airport!
Chris Brown, 26, has been stuck in the Philippines since July 22 after being accused of fraud, but that’s all in the past now. Chris posted an Instagram video showing him and his boys happily heading to their plane at the Manila airport, finally heading out to Macau for the next stop on his tour. Freedom’s never felt so good!
Chris was able to get the emigration certificate he needed in order to leave the Philippines early on the morning of July 24, according to Immigration Bureau spokeswoman Elaine Tan. Woo hoo! A clearly elated Chris posted an Instagram video showing his entourage walking down the runway to his private plane, ready to board for Macau, where he’s scheduled to perform at Club Cubic. “Manila it was fun! I love you all man,” Chris shouted as he walked, arms raised triumphantly. “We finna coming to Macau! Party tonight! Turn up!”
Chris was detained while attempting to leave Manila on July 22 on charges of fraud, after failing to perform at a New Years Eve 2014 concert — and still pocketing the $1 million fee. Immigrations officers stopped Chris and told him he wouldn’t be allowed to leave the country unless he paid back the concert promoters, or applied for the emigration license required to get out of there. Breezy was able to leave, according to Elaine, when he applied for the certificate and the department found that “Chris [had] no other derogatory record apart from the [immigration lookout bulletin]” Yay!
This isn’t the first Instagram Chris has posted since being trapped. On July 23, he shot a video in what appeared to be a hotel room, as he prayed on his hands and knees for President Obama to help him come home. Well it appeared to work, don’t you think?
