We may finally get an answer about why Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert went and broke our hearts by breaking up! ‘The Voice’ judge is fed up with the rumors, and is already planning a TV interview to tell-all about the divorce, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Blake Shelton, 39, is sooooo ready to clear the air. After hearing fans’ speculation that he may have became too close to singer, Cady Groves, 25, while still married to Miranda Lambert, 32, the country singer wants the truth to be known about the couple’s divorce, and HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on how he plans to do it.
“Blake is trying to figure out the best way to address all of this,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It most likely will be done via a sit down interview to clear the air once a lot of the dust settles.”
Okay, people are definitely still buzzing about this, so it may take some time before things settle down and we get to hear the truth, but we’ll for sure be on the look out for an interview announcement! Four days after the divorce news went public, Blake and Miranda have already mocked rumors on Twitter, so it definitely seems like they’re itching to get their two cents in!
The exes’ Twitter exchange began as a way to promote their pal, Ashley Monroe’s, album, but things got interesting when Miranda tweeted, “I knew it…. you WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!” The message was the perfect rebuttal to In Touch Magazine’s report that she was carrying the duo’s first child after the split. From there, the pair engaged in some playful back and forth, making it seem like there’s no bad blood following the break up.
But, all joking aside, Blake is very upset that fans are speculating he got too flirty with Cady, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported. “He is adamant that he never cheated on Miranda with Cay, and is telling close friends that he is not the one who ruined the relationship,” our insider explained. “He knew stuff like this would be said in the media, but the way he’s reacting to these rumors have made his friends really believe him. He’s the one who filed for divorce, not the other way around.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think Blake should do a sit down interview?
