On July 22, just two days after Blake and Miranda finalized their divorce, Cady took to Twitter with some emotional messages about unattainable love, and many fans on the social media site are insinuating that she’s talking about how hurt she was that she and Blake were never able to have a real relationship.
“It’s sick that I experienced a once in a lifetimes love-still as strong as the day it happened- & have been punished every single day since,” she wrote on Wednesday, July 22. “And that’s all you need to know. I never quit loving you—you just ran. Isn’t that what they teach you love is? One loves the other more and therefor holds the power to virtually murder the other. After all these years- it’s you. Always was: always will be.”
EEEKK, being “punished” for loving someone?! That certainly could refer to all the backlash she received for her alleged relationship with Blake! Of course, Cady immediately began getting a ton of criticism in response, and quickly began defending herself.
“I am a good person,” she explained. “Do not judge someone if you don’t know anything about anything. It’s ridiculous.” Later, she gushed over how much she loved “all” of Miranda’s songs, and shared a heartfelt tweet about how she recently lost her brother. So regardless of whether or not something happened between Cady and Blake, it’s clear she has a lot going on right now, and may have just been on an emotional roller coaster when she posted the original messages.
