Amanda Bynes, is that you? The once troubled actress has kept out of the public eye for the last several months, but made a rare appearance at a fashion party on July 23 looking healthier than ever!
We’re so happy for Amanda Bynes, 29! For months, the former actress has been making a slow and sporadic return to the public eye, but on July 23 she made it clear that she’s back and looking incredible as she attended her first public party since her tragic meltdown. The proof is in the photos!
We haven’t seen much of the Easy A actress in recent months, so it was definitely a surprise when she was spotted at fashion designer Michael Costello and Style PR’s capsule collection launch party in L.A. on July 23. Wearing a tight white dress and oversized sunglasses, the blonde star appeared in good spirits as she made her way into the party, which also included appearances by former Danity Kane singers Shannon Bex, 35, and Aubrey O’Day, 31, and black-ish star Yara Shahidi, 15. Though she decided to skip the red carpet, Amanda reportedly stayed for the duration of the party before leaving out the back door with a group of friends. Upon leaving, the She’s The Man star was seen smiling and waving to the surrounding photographers.
Amanda, who announced her retirement from acting in 2012, has kept a low profile for most of 2015. The one-time Nickelodeon star suffered a series of highly publicized personal and legal setbacks between 2012 and 2014, including a DUI charge and a short stint in a psychiatric hospital. Since then, with the help of her parents, it seems Amanda has been getting her life back on track — and succeeding!
In keeping with the good news, our sources tell us that Amanda is in the running to star on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars — that is, if she remains healthy enough to compete. “They want her! If she does it, she wants to dance with Derek [Hough], 30, or Mark [Ballas], 29,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She is in very, very loose discussions and absolutely nothing has been set in stone but as long as she is mentally stable, she is basically a lock for the next season.”
Let’s hope Miss Bynes can tango her way to a true comeback.
