Ruby Rose came face to face with fear when an unidentified gunman was found roaming in her backyard. File this under most frightening celeb news of the week.
Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose, 29, plays an inmate on the hit Netflix series, but in real life, she had a scary close encounter with an actual criminal the night of July 22. Discovered wandering behind her LA home, an armed trespasser was arrested after a dramatic police invasion. Click inside for all the details!
After being spotted hanging out behind Ruby’s residence, 911 was immediately called, prompting law enforcement to rush to the scene, swarming the house in search of the intruder. To see just how crazy things got, check it out by CLICKING HERE.
Ruby caught all the chaos on camera, anxiously narrating all the drama as it went down. In the clip (which has since been deleted off of social media), the Australia native was able to mutter, “Policemen…Looking for a f–king gunman.”
Not only did she share the horrifying incident via video, she also live tweeted the event in a slew of panicky messages — which have also been sadly taken down. In them, she wrote: “This is petrifying. Helicopters, police, dogs … and a crazy person.” Yikes!
The short-haired stunner did have good news to share by the end of the evening; the man had been placed in handcuffs — and hopefully taken to a penitentiary less fun than Litchfield. At the time, it was still a mystery as to whether the suspect was attempting to get into Ruby’s manse — or if he was just simply making a run through her neighborhood.
However, officials contacted TMZ later on in the night, explaining to them that Ruby was not the one who originally called the police and it didn’t happen at her home. Apparently, the man was trying to break into her next door neighbor’s house. Whatev, totes still terrifying.
