Are Tyga and Kylie Jenner going to tie the knot BEFORE her 18th birthday? In the new E! series ‘I Am Cait,’ the reality star jokes to her dad, Caitlyn Jenner, that she’s going to get married at just 17 years old!
There are some things you just don’t joke about with your dad — like, for instance, marrying your 25-year-old boyfriend when you’re just 17! But, as HollywoodLife.com saw in an advance screening of E!’s I Am Cait, that’s exactly what Kylie Jenner, 17, did to Caitlyn Jenner, 65, who was far from thrilled.
During the highly-anticipated show’s first episode, Kylie meets up with her dad and his mom, Esther, who shares a photo of herself when she was just 17. “We kind of look alike!” Kylie gushes, touched that her grandmother is sharing the old picture with her.
After the sweet exchange, Caitlyn tells his daughter that Esther was married at the time the picture was taken. “Kind of like me!” Kylie joked. But the former Olympian was NOT having it. “I better not hear that from you!” she warned, laughing.
Things are pretty serious between the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her boyfriend, Tyga, though, and it’s even been reported that they want to tie the knot once she turns 18 on Aug. 10. An insider even told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the rapper asked Caitlyn’s permission to marry her daughter in a letter that he penned! And while Caitlyn laughed at the sweet note, we know she also thinks Kylie is way too young to get married right now.
Kylie Meets Caitlyn For First Time In ‘I Am Cait’
Overall, the first episode of I Am Cait was both emotional and incredibly inspiring. Kylie actually meets her dad as Caitlyn for the first time in the premiere, and it actually happened over FaceTime! The 17-year-old was ‘a bit loopy’ from a dentist appointment during the call, but told Caitlyn she “looked pretty.” So loving.
The episode mostly surrounds Cait meeting her family members for the first time, providing a groundbreaking moment for television that is sure to make a difference in the lives of many transgender men and women who have forever been too afraid to reveal their true selves. Tune in on July 26 at 8 p.m. on E!
