Shots fired! Piers Morgan is sounding off on the Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift Twitter war and the former AGT host is Team Swifty all the way. He disses the ‘Anaconda’ singer hard and calls her a ‘stroppy little piece of work’.
Piers Morgan, 50, is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the Nicki Minaj/Taylor Swift Twitter war and he is totally #TeamTaylor. The former Piers Morgan Live host slams Nicki for her past behavior with his family and he says the real reason she wasn’t nominated for the video of the year was that it just wasn’t good enough. Read on to see his harsh words.
Piers sounds like he has bad blood of his own with the “Starships” singer, when he talks about an encounter with her when he was a judge on America’s Got Talent. “I experienced at first hand what a stroppy little piece of work she could be when she appeared as a guest act on America’s Got Talent when I was still a judge on the show. My three sons, aged 16, 13 and 9 at the time, were keen to get a photo with her backstage. I approached her dressing room, where she was lounging and yawning on a couch, and made the polite request. Back came the message: ‘No.’ ‘Sorry?’ I replied. ‘Ms Minaj is not available.’ ‘Not even to say hello?’ ‘NOT. AVAILABLE.’ My audience with her goons was over and I had to break the news to my sons that ‘Ms Minaj’ was too busy doing nothing to grant them a second of her precious time,” Pierce wrote in his column on the Daily Mail.
So how do the people at MTV feel about this social media beef? They love it! “MTV loves this Twitter feud between Taylor and Nicki because it’s the best free advertising they could ever imagine,” an inside source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “People at MTV are already putting together ideas to present to Taylor and Nicki. They have thought of them performing together, presenting an award together or doing a skit for the show.” Just when we thought nothing could top Miley Cyrus’s VMA perfomance last year, it sounds like this year’s VMA’s could be the most exciting yet!
