Your favorite zip code is back — and so are the ’90s! The Lifetime movie based on the beloved series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ finally revealed the first cast photo for ‘Unauthorized’ on July 20, and it’s the bomb diggity. See it here!
Ever since Lifetime revealed that they were making The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story, a tell-all TV movie of the behind-the-scenes drama of Beverly Hills, 90210, we’ve been on our toes! The first cast photo for the film was revealed on July 20, and everything from the ’90s hair and loads of denim is just so rad. Check out the new cast here!
So much yes! We have a bunch of new faces to get used to, but they totally resemble the beloved ’90s cast. Playing Brandon Walsh, the role formerly held by Jason Priestley, is Switched At Birth star Max Lloyd Jones, while Degrassi‘s own Samantha Munro will take on Shannen Doherty‘s role of Brenda Walsh. Abbie Cobb will play Jennie Garth‘s Kelly Taylor, while Jesy McKiney will play Dylan McKay/Luke Perry, along with David Lennon playing Steve Sanders/Ian Ziering. Ross Linton will star as David Silver/Brian Austin Green, Michele Goyns as Andrea Zuckerman and Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen‘s Valerie Malone.
So exciting! The TV movie “will show the roller coaster ride of the program’s first four seasons, highlighting the drama between cast members and producers both on and off-set, including the series’ journey from several near-cancellations to its massive success and imprint in the cultural zeitgeist and lasting impression it has made on millions of people to this day,” Lifetime told HollywoodLife.com.
We can’t wait! The Beverly Hills, 90210 tell-all tale will air Oct. 3. In equally exciting news, Lifetime will air The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story the following week on Oct. 10! So much ’90s revival to look forward to.
