Was Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s split inevitable? As heartbreaking as it is to him, Scott is justifying their split with the sad reason that she never planned on marrying him, HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Did Scott Disick, 32, actually do Kourtney Kardashian, 36, a favor by messing up too many times? Since their split, she’s had no interest in reuniting with her ex-partner of nine years, and Scott feels like he gave Kourtney the perfect reason to dump him. In fact, he thinks that deep down, she never even wanted to marry him! So what exactly does he plan on doing to get back in good graces with Kourt? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
“In some ways Scott feels like he gave Kourtney exactly what she
wanted. He brought up that she never wanted to marry him and blames that as part of the problem,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. After nine years and three kids together, you would think marriage would cross their minds. It seems like it definitely crossed Scott’s mind — however, he messed up more than a few times, which made her hesitant! However, Scott doesn’t want there to be any bad blood between him and Kourtney.
“Scott thinks they really need a third party to mediate the next time they talk,” our source continues. “For now he actually suggested Kris [Jenner] be there the next time he sees the kids to help keep things civil.” Scott may want to think twice about having Kris as a mediator, because she thinks that he’s completely blown it with Kourtney!
It’s important that Scott stay on good terms with Kourtney and her family for the sake of Penelope, 3, Mason, 5, and Reign, 6 months. After over a month of being away from his kids, Lord Disick finally reunited with them over the weekend. It’s great to see him making an effort again, but we just hope that he doesn’t forget about his most important role of all — being a dad!
