We still can’t believe that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are divorcing. But a source close to them tells EXCLUSIVELY that Blake’s love for going out and being very social put a strain on their relationship. Find out all the details here!

When Blake Shelton, 39, and Miranda Lambert, 31, first fell in love with each other, it was like one big party, can EXCLUSIVELY reveal. But as time went on, Miranda’s priorities changed, while Blake’s remained the same. And that put a huge wedge between them. So sad.

“When Blake and Miranda first got together, they had a crazy, wild attraction and their relationship was one big party. It was great because they were lovers and best friends, who enjoyed going out together. But as time went on, Miranda changed, as did her priorities. She didn’t want to go out every night and she stopped drinking, except for the rare occasion. She lost a lot of weight and became obsessed with her diet. Meanwhile, the fun times did not stop for Blake. He was still the same fun loving country boy who she first fell in love with. He liked to go out, drink beer and eat fried food,” a source tells EXCLUSIVELY.

This so so sad. We understand that people change over time, but it’s a shame that Miranda and Blake couldn’t learn to embrace their differences. It seems like they just had less and less in common as time went on. And Blake’s need to be a social butterfly didn’t sit well with Miranda.

“Blake would go out and socialize after filming The Voice, or when he was out on the road, which infuriated Miranda. Miranda kept wondering where he was and who he was with. She couldn’t stop herself from worrying,” our source adds.

As previously reported, Blake filed for divorce a few months ago, but their split was finalized on July 20.
