How could a love like Blake Shelton’s and Miranda Lambert’s ever go wrong? A source close to the former couple tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that their outlook on having children is what ultimately ended everything.
Blake Shelton, 39, and Miranda Lambert, 31, fell in love fast and hard, but they never quite saw eye-to-eye about having a family together. HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that their constant battle to have a baby and start a family was the straw that broke this relationship in half, ending it permanently. So sad.
While you are still reeling from the devastating news that Miranda and Blake are no longer, let HollywoodLife.com help you understand when, where, how, and why it all went so wrong. After nearly a decade together, it turns out that Blake and Miranda just could not get on the same page when it came to having a baby. Unfortunately, it was that specific disagreement that really tore their relationship apart.
“Miranda felt very lonely in their marriage and really wanted a baby,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She really thought having a child together would solve a lot of their issues. Unfortunately, having a baby wasn’t a priority for Blake who was focused on his career and having fun. He was enjoying his life and wasn’t ready to make that kind of commitment. The baby battle really put a strain on their relationship.”
It’s so sad that these two couldn’t figure their romance out after all of this time. Now, they are going their separate ways, and may be considered legally divorced as of Monday, July 20, depending on the judge overseeing their case. The couple also had a pre-nup, which made it easier to figure out the terms of their split instead of battling it in court.
