Stock up your fridges. Steve is back! On July 16, the whole cast started tweeting pics of their first table read (and their amazing personalized coffee cups), and Scott Weinger was included! DJ + Steve = Forever.
When we found out that DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) would be playing a widow in Fuller House, and that her husband wasn’t Steve, the whole world freaking out, in hopes that Scott Weinger, who portrayed her on-again off-again beau in Full House would join the show. And now, he has.
“This is not a drill, people. This is happening!” Scott tweeted on July 16, and now we can all die happy, with a photo of the script. He wasn’t the only one either! Candace shared a photo as well of the script, revealing the title of the premiere episode would be “Our Very First Show, Again.” She captioned it with, “Epic first day. Cast read #FullerHouse #DJTanner #Deej #DjFuller.” However the best part of all was her coffee cup, which looks like Starbucks made, with the name “Deej’s Coffee.”
Andrea Barber, AKA Kimmie also shared a similar pic — but her mug says “Gibbler’s Coffee.” Her caption totally made our hearts melt: First read thru. Full heart. Just like coming home. ☺️❤️🏡 Love you guys @candacecbure @bobsaget @dcoulier @loriloughlin @johnstamos.” JUST LIKE COMING HOME? Yes, please. Also, where can we get these mugs?
Bob Saget (Danny), Dave Coulier (Joey), Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky) and John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) and Jodie Sweeten (Stephanie) have also joined the cast. Although John Stamos recently was admitted to rehab, Candace spoke to ETOnline, explaining that the whole cast will stand by him. “I love him. We love him. And if this is what he needs to spend time to get things together we’re all supportive and glad he’s there and know that things will be good when he comes back. I support him, and we’ll support him,” she said. “Everything’s great with the show. [John] will be there.”
We can not wait.
