Ian Ziering is totally down for getting the cast of ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ back together — when he’s not hunting down sharks, that is.
It’s been 15 years since Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t comeback right? In the wake of spin-offs, sequels and reboots, everything is possible: even in Ian Ziering‘s mind. Listen to our HollywoodLife podcast interview here to find out what Steve’s conditions are!
When it comes to a BH, 90210 reunion, the only issue is timing — and the way it would be done.
“That’s what’s really so challenging is getting us all to be able to do it at the same time,” he told us. “We all have families and kids now so scheduling is formidable and getting everybody on the same page for what the narrative is going to be. I’ll go back and do it, but it’s got to have some type of connection to what I did back then.”
He also revealed that he was asked to be a part of the CW’s remake of 90210, but the connection wasn’t there. “I wasn’t looking to resurrect a character to grandiose the new 90210. If I was going to go back — if I’m going to do a reunion, then I’ve got to have the legacy a part of it,” he added.
Well, we would absolutely love for this to happen. Ian continued to tell us that when he did the show, he was 26 and really really connected with the entire cast — something that’s rare on TV. “I had the benefit of being in college prior to my 90210 experience, and I realized what happens when you fraternize with people that you live really closely with. It can be difficult, so I never liked to mix business with pleasure. I became fast friends with everyone.”
How we wish we were part of that show. So, do you want to see a reunion, HollywoodLifers?
