‘Vampire Diaries’: Stefan ‘Doesn’t Give A Sh-t’ About Elena In Season 7 — Watch

‘The Vampire Diaries’ just began filming season seven, but Paul Wesley knows what Stefan wants — and it isn’t Elena. In a new interview with our sister site TVLine, he came clean about what’s coming up for him, romantically, in season seven. Watch the interview here.

We all know that since Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is still around, we’re still going to be talking a lot about his long, lost, asleep for a long time girlfriend, Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev). However, there’s one person that isn’t thinking about her and that’s Stefan (Paul Welsey). He’s of course, too mesmerized by Caroline (Candice Accola)!

“She’s still a character on the show, she’s still talked about a lot,” Michael Malarkey told TVLine at Comic-Con. “Obviously there’s a lot of characters that are not over it. Enzo doesn’t give a sh-t.”

Apparently, he’s not the only one! “Stefan doesn’t give a sh-t because he cares about her,” Paul added motioning to Candice. “He’s obsessed with her, he’s obsessed with Caroline, but she ain’t havin’ none of that. He’s throwing himself at her and she’s like, ‘back off, son!'”

EP Caroline Dries also added that this season will include “Stefan’s game,” since he didn’t really have to do anything to win Elena over in season one. This time, Caroline’s making him “earn it.”

Is Bamon A Thing?

However, the Steroline relationship isn’t the only one changing this year — it’s the year of Bonnie (Kat Graham)! She’s finally alive and has a brand new friendship — yes guys, friendship — with Damon. While Kat is open to doing whatever, Dries cleared that up it’s more “powerful” as a friendship. “Bonnie is going to have her own love interest this year — and it’s not going to be Damon,” Caroline said, but Kat actually threw us for a curveball.

“I’ve pitched female witches,” Kat added. I’ve pitched Bonnie having some discoveries, sexually, about herself. I’ve pitched everything. We’ll see what happened.”

What do you hope for in season seven, HollywoodLifers?
