And the surprises from Taylor Swift just keep on comin’! The singer gave fans at the Washington D.C. stop of her 1989 tour quite the treat when she welcomed her BFF, Lorde, on stage for a killer duet of ‘Royals.’ Watch here!

Lorde, 18, didn’t want to be the only member of Taylor Swift’s, 25, squad to miss out on the 1989 tour fun — so she flew all the way to America from New Zealand to surprise fans at the July 13 show! The besties took the stage together in Washington D.C. to sing a fun duet of Lorde’s hit “Royals,” and you HAVE to see it!

Taylor has been bringing surprise musical guests on stage for her last two tours, but now that she has such an A-list group of friends, most of her special performers are actually some of her best friends! That was definitely the case with Lorde, and the ladies seemed to be having the BEST time ever while rocking out.

“When your best friend flies across the world to surprise the crowd with ‘Royals’ bc she’s a wondrous angel,” the “Bad Blood” singer excitedly tweeted after the show. And Lorde shared in the excitement, writing, “just laughing like ‘this is our job how lucky are we/this stadium is so loud and pretty/we are best buds/KILLING IT.”

The “Team” singer also made sure to gush over her gorgeous pal, adding, “but seriously, @taylorswift13 is the leader of a great and beautiful galaxy that i’d live in forever.” Umm…girl, can you make sure to take us along whenever you head over there?! Because we couldn’t agree more!

The D.C. concert comes just days after Taylor’s big weekend in New Jersey, where she brought out Nick Jonas and The Weeknd for performances in back-to-back shows. Oh, and she also had the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, Heidi Klum, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Uzo Aduba, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Martha Hunt, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss and Hailee Steinfeld strut their stuff on the stage throughout both nights. No big deal.

Tell us, HollywoodLifers: What did you think of Taylor and Lorde’s duet?
