Don’t mess with his friends! Justin Bieber came to Kylie Jenner’s defense after she was attacked by ‘Hunger Games’ star Amandla Stenberg for having her hair in cornrows. Justin took to Instagram to say Amandla’s ‘ridiculous’ for accusing Kylie of being racist.
Justin Bieber, 21, isn’t happy with Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg, 16, for accusing his friend, Kylie Jenner, 17, of being a racist. In fact, he’s so annoyed with the fact that anyone would attack the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for wearing her hair in cornrows that he took to Instagram to vent his frustrations.
“Guys leave her alone, were all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope! I’m the first to know this. But saying she’s being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous. lets focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid lets do something about equality, but it doesn’t start here blasting a 17 year old kid for wearing braids smh,” Justin wrote in an Instagram comment on July 13. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Amandla criticized Kylie’s new cornrows, and then, the KUWTK star fired back, which ignited a bitter feud between the teens. Kylie posted a photo of her cornrows with the caption: “I woke up like disss.” Amandla commented: “@novemberskyys when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter.” And that led Kylie to say this: “@amandlastenberg Mad if I don’t, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.” In case you’re unaware, Kylie and Jaden used to be a “thing” — they allegedly made out at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s wedding in May 2014. They ended up going their separate ways, but Jaden went to prom with Amandla in May 2015.
Obviously, Amandla and Kylie have some beef with each other, but friends like Justin Bieber don’t want to see things get out of hand. And neither do we.
