She’s your queen to be! After strutting her stuff across the Miss USA stage, Miss Oklahoma, Olivia Jordan took top honors at the prestigious pageant on July 12.
Olivia Jordan, 26, has made Oklahoma very proud. The gorgeous actress-model competed against 50 of America’s most stunning women to become Miss USA 2015, but came out on top after killing it in all three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview. Obvi, she was more than deserving of the $250K crown she’ll get to wear for the next 365 days. Congrats, girl!
Olivia’s life has truly changed. The blonde beauty is officially your 63rd Miss USA winner — and we couldn’t be more thrilled for her! She was a perfect 10 throughout the whole competition, showing off her hard earned bikini bod, wowing us in a beautiful Barbie-pink Sherri Hill evening gown and impressing us the most by eloquently answering tough interview Qs.
Miss Jordan proved she was a true champion for our country when she gave an oh-so-perfect response to the question: Now that same-sex marriage equality and the display of the Confederate flag have been addressed, what is the biggest issue our country needs to tackle next?
“We still need to talk about race relations,” she said. “We really need to work on being an accepting society. No matter your race, no matter your gender. Everyone needs to be given the same rights and opportunities.” Amen, sista!
Next, she totally stole our hearts when she spoke about who she feels should be the first woman to appear on the $10 bill come 2020. “Well I wish that Oprah was an eligible candidate,” she joked, but then added, “But there are some amazing women in American history. I think Harriet Tubman would be a beautiful example of how far we’ve been, how far we are coming and how far we still have to go.” Couldn’t. Agree. More.
