Everyone who wasn’t at Taylor Swift’s July 10 concert is having a severe case of FOMO right now. The 25-year-old singer brought the entire U.S. women’s soccer team up on stage at her concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to honor them after they won the World Cup championship against Japan on July 5. Tay even got to hold the coveted World Cup trophy!
Taylor and the U.S. women’s soccer team finally came face-to-face, and it was epic. The singer invited all 23 girls to the stage during her performance of “Style” to help celebrate their fantastic World Cup win Tay’s way. The girls, including Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach, hit the MetLife stadium stage and had their World Cup trophy with them. Watch the video below.
Two American flags waved behind Taylor and the girls. Taylor also held the World Cup trophy high for all to see. There was some serious girl power up on that stage! The singer posted a photo of the amazing moment on Instagram and captioned it, “Got to welcome the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team home after their World Cup Victory- I LOVE THEM AND THEY ARE THE NICEST.”

Just hours before the concert, the U.S. women’s soccer team was honored with a ticker-tape parade in New York City. The team traveled down Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes with thousands of fans cheering them on. They were also given the keys to the city by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
But that wasn’t the only surprise Taylor had in store for her audience. She also brought her “Bad Blood” co-stars, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Lena Dunham up on stage. Some were in their “Bad Blood” costumes! Heidi Klum was also welcomed to the stage by Tay during the concert.
Who will Taylor welcome to the stage next? She’s made it a habit of surprising fans with special appearances by her BFFs. She has another concert tonight, July 11, at MetLife stadium. Could Selena Gomez finally show up? Time will tell!
