So scary! New mom Carrie Underwood was in for a shock when her five-month old son Isaiah was accidentally locked in her car on July 11. The country cutie had no choice but to break the car’s window in order to rescue her son!
It’s every mom’s nightmare to have the kids locked in the car. We can imagine the terror that first-time mom Carrie Underwood, 32, experienced when she realized that her five-month old son, Isaiah Michael Fisher, was locked in her car along with her dogs, forcing her to smash the vehicle’s window to save them.
“When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in. #WhatAreTheChances,” the season four American Idol winner tweeted to her 4.61 million Instagram followers on July 11.
Wow — that sounds downright frightening. How Carrie’s dogs, Ace and Penny managed to lock themselves, her stuff and poor little Isaiah in the car in the first place, we’re not sure. However, we can totally imagine the panic she felt! We’re just glad everything was resolved in the end. Carrie went into full-on super-mom mode in order to save Isaiah and her beloved pups!
Since the singer gave birth to Isaiah on Feb. 27, she’s been enjoying her new role as a mother. It was actually Ace and Penny who helped her announce her pregnancy news in Sept. 2014! At the time, Carrie shared a sweet photo of herself and the two pups on Instagram and wrote, “I’m going to be a big brother/sister.”
Carrie’s scary car incident comes one day after she celebrated her five-year wedding anniversary to NHL player Mike Fisher, 35. While the experience was definitely a scare, it’s good to know everyone is safe in the end.
