Poor Kourtney Kardashian. Even though she’s dealing with a broken heart, thanks to Scott Disick’s womanizing ways, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star is holding it together in front of the kids. She doesn’t want Mason, Penelope and Reign to be scarred by his absence.
Scott Disick, 32, may have hurt Kourtney Kardashian, 36, when he allegedly cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli, but their three children — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — will be the most affected if they don’t get back together. And that’s why Kourtney has been strategic about how she’s explaining the situation to their kids.
“It’s been tough for Kourtney because she has to hold it together in front of the kids. There’s a rule in the household, and basically everywhere else, that no one is allowed to badmouth Scott in front of the kids. She really wants to protect them and make sure that they know, especially Mason, that daddy did not leave because of them. The story is that he’s been out of town working,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Poor Kourtney. She’s dealing with so much, and then for her to stress about explaining everything to the kids — we just can’t imagine how difficult that must be.
“Eventually, Kourtney will consider getting professional help on what to tell the kids so they aren’t emotionally scarred by their daddy leaving. Right now, she’s just too busy taking care of the kids and dealing with lawyers with how to best handle everything. She has spoken to a couple of lawyers,” our source adds.
This is all so heartbreaking. We really hope Scott cleans himself up, so that he can be a great father to these three beautiful kids.
