Comic-Con chop! Willow Shields debuted a dramatic new ‘do at San Diego Comic-Con in California on July 9. Do you love her new hair?
Just hours before hitting the stage for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 panel at Comic-Con, Willow Shields, 15, got a hair makeover! She chopped off about 10 inches of her gorgeous blonde locks and looked absolutely stunning with a fresh new hairdo next to co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Willow rocked a dramatic purple smokey eye on day one of Comic-Con. We loved the whole look! Allan Avendaño did her hair and makeup and wrote on Instagram: “Fun with purple and blue ➡️@willowshields for Comic Con 2015 panel – Day One Look One.” Simply gorgeous!
Willow Shields Talks ‘Hunger Games’
Willow came to the HollywoodLife.com offices in April. About her Hunger Games co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, Willow told HollywoodLife.com:
“They’re fantastic. I’ve worked with them for five years. They’re fantastic. I’ve grown up with them from 10 to almost 15. It’s a nice little age to grow up with an incredible family on-set. It’s going to be sad, this last film coming out. It’s going to be epic.”
She continued: “I feel like other than Harry Potter, we’re the one series that also kept really close to the books. That’s because the author was closely involved with Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. I compare it to that because I think the fans are super happy with what has been done with the series. That’s our main goal. We have conversations on set. ‘If we do this, will the fans freak out? Will they not be happy?’ And we’ll be like ‘No, we’re not going to do this in this scene. It’s not right, it’s not who this character is.’ There are conversations like this all the time. The goal is to make the fans happy.”
“They’re going to love [the last film]. It’s going to be bittersweet. It’s not a good situation but I know the fans are going to love the film itself. It’s going to be beautiful. Personally, I already know that the cinematography is going to be wonderful so yeah, they’re going to love it.”
