Poor Ariana Grande! She may have apologized for her ‘I hate America’ comment, but some people, like Rob Lowe, aren’t buying it. In fact, the ‘Parks & Rec’ actor actually thinks the singer’s apology is straight up #Lame!
Sigh. You can always apologize for horrible comments, but not everyone is going to accept it. Ariana Grande, 22, learned that the hard way when Rob Lowe, 51, publicly dissed the singer after she apologized for making those harsh comments about her country!
“As my grandpa would say: “Yeah, sure. Pull the other leg, it plays jingle bells,” Rob tweeted after seeing TV Guide condense Ariana’s apology in roughly 140 characters. Ouch! Tell us how you really feel, Rob! After all the drama that went on surrounding Ari, donut-gate, and her surprising comment about hating America, the 22-year-old finally apologized for her behavior. In her heartfelt apology, not only did Ariana say she was sorry, she went on to explain her ‘I hate America’ comment. What Ari actually meant was it saddens her that America has the highest child obesity rate and it’s because of consuming unhealthy food without thinking of the consequences. Even though the world accepted the petite singer’s apology, the 51-year-old actor is totally dissing it.
Shortly after that first tweet, Rob went on to blast the Dixie Chicks along with Ariana. “Cannot wait for the new Arianna Grande/Dixie Chicks jam to drop! #IActuallyLoveAmerica,” he wrote after the first diss. It’s pretty much safe to say Rob doesn’t believe Ariana’s apology at all! Sadly, Ariana’s heartfelt apology didn’t help much. Her donut-licking actions actually sparked a health investigation of the donut shop.
Ariana Grande’s Donut-Licking Ways Sparked Health Investigation
After the video of Ariana’s unsanitary antics at Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California came to light, health officials decided to investigate the shop to make sure they aren’t violating other state food laws. “During the investigation, the manager did state they normally don’t leave donuts out like was shown in the video,” Dottie Ellis-Merki, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health, said in an email to the Associated Press.
“The employee went to the back to retrieve freshly made donuts by request of the customer [Grande] and left the trays out while getting other trays.” She said investigators found no further issues at the shop. Let’s hope Ariana keeps her tongue to herself the next time she’s out in public and around food!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Rob’s dig towards Ariana’s ‘I hate America’ apology?
