Ever since Ariana Grande licked a donut and said, ‘I hate America,’ her popularity has been suffering. We reached out to Hollywood’s top celebrity image consultants, who weighed in on what the singer can do to save her image. Read on for all the details.
There are plenty of things that Ariana Grande, 22, can do to rebuild her image after causing a scene at Wolfee’s Donuts. From working with Michelle Obama on the First Lady’s childhood obesity initiative to volunteering with inner city kids, our image experts all agree that that young singer “needs to put her words into action” if she wants to save face.
“Ariana needs to put her words into action if she wants to change her image. She should reach out to Michelle Obama, explain that she made a mistake and offer to perform at the White House to help Michelle Obama’s cause. She should spend time with inner city kids and work with them in a garden planting vegetables. She could take this donut shop incident and turn it into something positive. This would be much more impressive than giving a half-ass apology. An apology means taking 100% responsibility, which doesn’t come across in her apology statement. She needs to have more sensitivity. This incident isn’t a career breaker. It’s a speed bump, not a sinkhole,” Celebrity Image Expert Howard Bragman of Fifteen Minutes PR tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Ariana Grande’s Donut Scandal Damaged Her Image–How She Can Fix It
Volunteering is key for Ariana right now if she wants to win her fans back. Celebrity image expert Jacquie Jordan explains to Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY what steps the singer can take to clean up her tattered image: “Ariana should use the same technology that got her into trouble to get her out of trouble. She should get an Instagram snapshot of her this weekend wearing a hip red, white and blue outfit and volunteering at a local farmers market – for pet adoptions. Nothing is more American than helping those less fortunate. She should focus on moving forward with positive action.”
