Ariana Grande Apologizes For ‘Donut Fiasco’ Again After First One Upsets Fans — Video

Ariana Grande is giving it another go! After the singer was criticized for lacking sincerity in her statement, in which she apologized for licking donuts and bashing America, she decided to say sorry again. This time, however, she did so in a video posted online. Watch it here!

Even though she’s in “wisdom tooth recovery hell,” Ariana Grande, 22, took some time to record a video and apologize — yet again — for licking some donuts in a donut shop and saying, “I hate America.” In the four-minute clip, Ariana acknowledges that her first apology lacked sincerityas critics like Rob Lowe had claimed — so she wanted to give it another shot.

“I feel like the apology I posted, I was — I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is like not relative. I feel like I could have expressed myself in a different way,” Ariana says at the start of the four-minute video. And so, she does just that.

Even though in her first apology, she tried explaining why she said what she said, this time around, Ariana felt it was more important to say she’s “sorry” and that she’s “never been more proud to be an American.”

Ariana also went on to say that after watching the footage of her in the donut shop, she was “so disgusted” with herself that she “shoved [her] face in a pillow.” She also “wanted to disappear.”

Ariana may be apologizing — twice now — but she thinks the negative reaction she’s been getting is overboard. “Ariana regrets what she did, she knows it was stupid and not the kind of example she wants to set. But at this point she feels like people are going way overboard,” a source tells EXCLUSIVELY. “They’re acting like she committed a felony or something and she feels very attacked. She’s human she has feelings, people are being really mean at this point, it’s upsetting.”

Watch the entire video above and then tell us how you feel. What do YOU think of Ariana Grande’s new apology, HollywoodLifers? Does it make up for her first one? Are you ready to forgive her? Tell us how you feel!
