Aaron Paul’s dreams are coming true– and so are ours! The perfect human is dropping major hints that he is going to play Han Solo in the new ‘Star Wars’ movie. We know, you need details immediately!
Aaron Paul, 35, has been dropping hints left and right that he’s got a massive new project up his sleeve. Following the news that Disney would be producing a Star Wars spinoff about Hans Solo, the Breaking Bad star has continued to play coy– but on July 7, he posted a photo on Instagram which really has us thinking he’ll step into the iconic role! So, is Aaron the next Harrison Ford?
So long, Jesse Pinkman. Hours after an official plan for a Hans Solo spinoff was announce, Aaron took to Instagram to not so subtly imply that the title role was already his. Here’s what went down: The verified Star Wars Twitter account followed Aaron. The actor then screenshotted the account, which now said “follows you.” We know, it’s like a digital fairy tale.
Now, the dead giveaway. Aaron captioned the photo, “My dreams are coming true. #StarWars.” Okay, we’re no Sherlock Holmes, but it doesn’t take a certified detective to figure this one out. Aaron will obviously have an affiliation with the legendary Star Wars franchise– it’s just a matter of in what capacity.
The theory that Aaron will play Hans would definitely make sense, considering his cryptic social media message from June, in which he posted a photo of a plate with the word “congratulations” on it. He didn’t share what he was being congratulated on, but he assured us the information was coming soon. “Can’t wait to tell you what this is all about,” he wrote. “It’s top secret for now but you all will know soon enough. It’s a new gig that I am over the moon about.”
Hm, top secret eh? Yeah, we’ll wait here patiently for you to spill, Aaron. Check out his Star Wars Insta below!
However, Aaron shouldn’t whip out that black vest just yet. A source has revealed to us that Aaron may have some stiff competition for the role. “If they go the younger route for Han Solo its going to go to Chris Pratt,” our source revealed. “It’s his role to accept or decline. If they are going to replace Harrison Ford, they want a guarantee draw and Chris Pratt is exactly the person for the job. Aaron Paul or any other actor is not on the list of potentials until Chris Pratt chooses if he wants to do it or not.”
Do you think Aaron would make a good Hans Solo?
