That one had to hurt. Demi Lovato, 22, fell flat on her face while performing on a wet stage at KIIS FM’s summer pool party on July 5. The singer was celebrating her new single, “Cool For The Summer,” when she fell hard in front of fans. What a wipeout!
That fall couldn’t have been what Demi had in mind during her special performance over the Fourth of July weekend. Thankfully, Demi’s ego wasn’t too burned by the fall. The “Cool For The Summer” singer posted a video on Instagram of the epic fall with the caption, “#NOTCoolForTheSummer #F–kIt.” She also added four cry-laughing emojis. Watch the video below.
Despite her nasty tumble and the inevitable bruise on her right side, Demi got right back up and jumped into a small pool in front of her. You have to love how Demi keeps it cool after an embarrassing fall! We have to give a special shoutout to the guy who tried to save Demi from falling. You’re a good friend, bro.
Demi’s summer isn’t getting off to the best start. She recently released her new song, “Cool For The Summer,” and some people believe it’s eerily similar to Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl.” When Demi got wind of this talk, she took to Twitter to slam the critics of her song.
“Sounds nothing like it and with all the advances we’ve made in the LGBT community…I think more than one female artist can kiss a girl and like it,” she responded on Twitter. Tell ’em, Demi!
