OMG! Shockingly, Bill Cosby openly admitted to obtaining drugs in order to have sex with women. In a 2005 deposition, the actor revealed that he would get Quaaludes in order to sedate women he planned on becoming intimate with.
In court docs that were released to the public on July 6, it has been revealed that Bill Cosby, 77, did indeed try to drug women so that they would get in bed with him, as many past sexual abuse victims have accused him of doing. The info was included in a newly-opened testament from Mr. Cosby, which was a response to a lawsuit from a Temple University employee — who he gave three and a half Benadryl pills in order to have sexual relations with. Yikes!
Bill had settled that sexual abuse suit out of court for undisclosed terms in 2006. Since the incident occurred almost ten years ago, dozens of women have come forward accusing the fallen comedian of forcing them in similar situations. Most of them believe that they were drugged as well.
Regardless of their accusations, Bill has not been formally charged — mainly because of the statutes of limitations that protect him, disallowing the claims to affect him after so many years have passed. Bill’s Philadelphia-based lawyers have yet to comment on the new information that has finally been made public.
Bill’s team of attorneys actually objected to this piece of the 77-year-old’s past coming to light on grounds that it would “embarrass their client,” according to the Associated Press. Hmmm, well obvi. He should totes be humiliated!
