After ten long years of marriage, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck officially called it quits on June 30. Now comes the hard part — the wellbeing of their three young kids.
Ben Affleck, 42, is not looking for a fight when it comes to his kids with Jennifer Garner, 43. The couple who have three children together, Violet Anne ,Seraphina Rose, and Samuel, won’t be brawling over custody. Thank goodness.
Will Jen and Ben share joint custody and try to co-parent their children? A new report claims it’s not that simple between the Daredevil costars. “She’ll do anything for those kids, even if it means fighting mercilessly for Ben’s money and their family’s house,” an insider tells Star.
It doesn’t seem like the fight will be that hard considering that Ben prefers bachelorhood to parenting, according to the outlet. The actor may just back down and let her take control. The insider tells the outlet, “He loves his bachelor life too much, and the past few months have opened his eyes to that more than ever.”
Ben does love his children, but he doesn’t feel confident enough to parent them full-time. Not to mention his newfound freedom will be a big adjustment. The source went on to add, “He’s tired of being tamed.” Well, newsflash Ben, you’re a father and that means kids come first. It isn’t something that bachelorhood can replace.
Ben Willing To Give Jen Whatever She Needs
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Ben isn’t the drama type when it comes to his private life. “He wants to make it as drama free as possible,” a source close to the actor tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They don’t want to make this a long and drawn out process, [Ben] wants to make sure that [Jen] is happy with the settlement that comes about, that they both get enough time with the kids.” To hear more about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, head over to iTunes and download the HollywoodLife podcast for free!
