This could be the best news, like, ever. Prior to the premiere of ‘American Horror Story: Hotel,’ series creator Ryan Murphy revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY that he might put Caitlyn Jenner on the series!
Following Caitlyn Jenner‘s iconic Vanity Fair cover, comparisons were immediately drawn between she and American Horror Story star, Jessica Lange. Of course, with Jessica officially not returning to the anthological series for American Horror Story: Hotel, we’re in the market for a glamorous lady replacement– and series creator Ryan Murphy would consider Caitlyn! Check out what he revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY about including her in the series!
Like all of us (all of us with eyes, anyway), Ryan understands the comparisons between Jessica and Caitlyn– and he loves them! “What I thought was the greatest thing of all was, [Jessica] said, ‘I love that,'” Ryan revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY.
“I thought [Jessica] handled that in such a great, classy way…She said, ‘wait a minute, what? Oh, that’s great.’ I like that, I thought that was wonderful actually.” Same here, Ryan.
From there, though, the obvious question presents itself: could Caitlyn follow in Jessica’s footsteps and appear on AHS (either the upcoming Hotel, or another future season)? “Maybe I’ll put Caitlyn on Horror Story,” Ryan said. “You never know. I wonder if she would act?” For you Ryan, she would act! But hey, we’ll take a Caitlyn cameo on Scream Queens, instead if that’s more to your liking. We’re super flexible, obviously.
“I’m a big fan of [Caitlyn’s],” Ryan added. “And I’m really proud to live in a world with five years ago, if that had happened, it would be totally different. I thought [the comparisons] became instantly like a compliment as opposed to a detriment. I love that.” Same here, Ryan.
