While some believe the divorce between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner could get very ugly, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that the ‘Argo’ actor is ready to bend over backwards to make his ex happy — and why.
Ben Affleck, 42, is not looking for a fight when it comes to ending his 10 year marriage to Jennifer Garner, 43. A source close to the divorcing couple has revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com that Ben will do anything and everything to keep their split civil and end things on the best terms as possible.
If you’re looking for a fight, you might want to find some other Hollywood couple to take each other out. The cold hard truth is that Ben and Jen are definitely not going to be brawling over their split, and that this may be one of the most amicable break ups in the weird world of celebrities. And, believe it or not, it will all be thanks to Ben.
“He wants to make it as drama free as possible,” a well-placed source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They don’t want to make this a long and drawn out process, [Ben] wants to make sure that [Jen] is happy with the settlement that comes about, that they both get enough time with the kids.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, although Ben and Jen have been married for 10 years, they have been working on their failed romance in therapy for 2 years. There are also reports the couple have been living separately for at least 10 months, which means they had plenty of time to make their divorce arrangements privately.
So, what’s in store for their relationship after the papers are signed? Our souree says, “For the benefit of their kids, you will see them together in outings but at no point should that be taken as any type of reconciliation.” Hey, if they can put their differences aside for their three children then they are definitely going about this the right way.
