Surprise! Evangeline Lilly is pregnant — and it looks like she’s already SEVERAL months along! The ‘Lost’ star revealed her exciting news by surprisingly debuting a huge baby bump at the ‘Ant-Man’ premiere on June 29.
Bump alert! Evangeline Lilly, 35, has kept a majorly low profile in 2015, and it turns out she’s been hiding some pretty big news. On June 29, the actress was forced to step back in the public eye for the premiere of her movie Ant-Man, and shocked fans by hitting the red carpet with a massive baby bump!
The pregnant star proudly flaunted her growing belly at the event, wearing a skin-hugging, one-shouldered, black and white Halston Heritage gown that definitely didn’t cover up the bump. This was the first time Evangeline has been photographed on a red carpet since December 2014, when she attended the premiere for The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies.
Staying low-key since December has given Evangeline the perfect opportunity to enjoy her pregnancy in private, and she really looks like she could pop any day! As of now, it’s unclear exactly how far along she is, but we definitely wouldn’t be surprised if the baby comes sometime this summer.
Evangeline and her longtime partner, Norman Kali, are already parents to a son, Kahekili, who was born in 2011. However, she admitted in January that she and Norman want a big family, and are highly considering adoption, although they’ve had a difficult time with the process.
“What I wanted originally was six kids,” she told Ocean Drive. “I frickin’ love being pregnant. I’m one of the lucky women who just had a blissful pregnancy, but I wanted to adopt four. My partner and I have really been through the ringer in the adoption world and it’s hard, so we’ll see what happens. Life is magically beautiful, and it brings you what is perfect.”
We’re so happy that Evangeline is pregnant and moving forward with her dreams of having a lot of kids! Tell us, HollywoodLifers: What do you think of the way she announced her pregnancy? How do you feel about her red carpet maternity look?
