If Kate Hudson is upset about her biological father saying she’s ‘dead’ to him, she’s definitely not showing it. The actress hit the Taylor Swift concert in London, and the smile on her face reveals she doesn’t care what her dad, Bill Hudson, says about her.
Kate Hudson, 36, is not going to let her estranged father, musician Bill Hudson, 65, bring her down. Ignoring his scathing interview in which he declares that the actress and her brother, Oliver, 38, Kate stepped out looking carefree and happier than ever on Sunday night, June 28, with her BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, at the Taylor Swift concert in Hyde Park.
As if trying to send a message to her estranged father, Kate Hudson looked absolutely incredible when attending the Taylor Swift concert. Not only did she look super cute in a white romper, but she had BFF Gwyneth on her arm almost the entire night. Now, that’s definitely one way to let your dad — and the world — know that you couldn’t care less what he thinks about you and your brother. Click here to see the PICS!
This was the first time Kate was spotted since her biological dad, Bill Hudson, did an interview with Daily Mail saying that he “never” wants to see his two eldest children, Kate and Oliver, ever again. Bill, who was married to Kate and Oliver’s mom, Goldie Hawn, from 1976 to 1980, was responding to Oliver’s angry Father’s Day Instagram post. On what should have been a special day for Bill, a father of five children in total, Oliver posted a picture of himself posing with Kate and their dad with the caption “Happy Abandonment Day.” It was a harsh dig at Bill, who has not been a part of their life since they were very little.
“That was like a dagger to the heart,” he said in his interview on Sunday, June 28. “If what he wanted was me out of their lives, then he’s succeeded. I don’t want to see either of my eldest children ever again. It’s over.” Fortunately, Kate seems completely unaffected by the harsh interview her father gave. At this point, she’s probably used to it.
